Event Description

Dads Supporting Dads – A Space for Fathers to Connect, Share and Grow

Being a dad comes with its own unique challenges and rewards. Whether you're a new father, co-parenting, or navigating family life on your own, Dads Supporting Dads offers a safe, welcoming space to connect with others who understand.

This group is designed to:

  • Support dads in building confidence in their parenting role.
  • Provide a space to talk openly about fatherhood, relationships, and wellbeing.
  • Offer practical advice and emotional support from trained facilitators and peers.
  • Help dads understand how their own experiences shape their parenting.
  • Reduce isolation and build positive networks with other fathers in the community.

We recognise that every dad’s journey is different. Whether you're parenting full-time, part-time, or from a distance, you are welcome here.

Sessions may include group discussions, parenting workshops, and opportunities for one-to-one support. We also work closely with other services to ensure dads can access the right help at the right time.

This initiative is part of Walsall’s commitment to improving the culture and climate of fatherhood in local services—ensuring dads are seen, heard, and supported as equal partners in their children’s lives.
